Board Of Directors
My wife, Ruthie, and I live in Austin, Texas and we enjoy spending as much time in Snowmass Village as possible. I have been on the Snowmass HOA board for 4 plus years and I am committed to serving the needs of our members and supporting our HOA management team at The Romero Group. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
I moved to Snowmass Village in 1980 after attending the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport Connecticut. I worked at the Snowmass Club for 25 years in the athletic department, as well as holding numerous positions in the service industry in Snowmass Village. I recently retired from a property management position in Aspen.
I am married to Bill Madsen and we have three children that live in the valley. I care deeply about our community and care greatly about its future. I am active as a Stevens Minister at the Snowmass Chapel as well as St.Mary’s Church. I love to ski, cross country ski, bike, hike and travel.
Jami Lee Ferraro
Born and raised in Colorado! I made the move from the front range to Aspen 26 years ago and never looked back. I met my husband while skiing and the rest, as they say, is history. We’ve been married for 22 years raising our son (Jackson 20) and daughter (Chloe 16) in Aspen and Snowmass Village. We enjoy and take advantage of all the outdoor activities our area offers. From biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, motocross riding, our crew does it all. My husband and I both work in property management which keeps us busy. I’m also fortunate enough to work at ASE as a ramp agent for Delta and United. It has been a life changing opportunity which has helped us afford to travel the world. It’s been a pleasure being a board member of SHOA working with all you fantastic people who also care about our little slice of Heaven here in Snowmass Village.
I live in Houston, Texas and spend as much time as possible in Snowmass Village. We have owned property here since 2006 and currently live at 1026 Sinclair Road. I have a son, Cole, who is a senior at TCU in Fort Worth, a goldendoodle dog named Rocky, and a very sweet husband, Glenn, who just retired from Stewart Title after 48 years. I retired 20+ years ago as the Vice President of Marketing at David Weekley Homes (a national homebuilder headquartered in Houston). I now have a small business called “The Well Ordered Life” and I help people organize, declutter, and move into or out of their homes. I am also an Airbnb Host for four different properties in the Aspen/Snowmass area. My hobbies include golf, hiking, biking, pickleball, and mah jongg. I have previously served on the board of the River Oaks Women’s Golf Association, including two terms as President. It is a pleasure to serve on this board.
Laura and I consider Snowmass Village the most wonderful place on Earth. We spend an average of 2 weeks per month, year round. My first visit was January 26, 1988 – 33 years ago. Blue skies, warm sun as I rode up the Fanny Hill lift with my jacket wide open. We are Canadians, born in Winnipeg, and Flin Flon, Manitoba, and have 2 sons.
I am a Professional Engineer and own a number of businesses that are involved in Heavy Construction, Buildings and Bridges, Aggregates, Concrete, and Industrial, commercial and residential real estate. We built our dream home in Horse Ranch in 2008 and I am on the Board of the Horse Ranch Homeowners Association. Laura is a Real Estate Broker and past President of the Board at the Snowmass Chapel, after chairing the Stewardship and Fundraising Committee for 4 years. I live to ski and Laura loves the Rec Center.
Jack graduated from Texas A&M University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, and he is a graduate of the 1982 Executive Program at Stanford University’ School of Business. He has served on the board and is a current member of the Gas Processors Association and the North Texas Natural Gas and Power Association. Mr. Lafield is a member and past Chairman of the Texas Intrastate Pipeline Association. He has also served as Vice Chairman of the Dallas Goodwill Industries’ Board of Directors. He presently serves as President and on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Petroleum Club and on the Advisory Board and Executive Committee of the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M University.
